Shawna Cook
Shawna is the Food Service Supervisor at SOS and grew up in Tuolumne County. She attended Curtis Creek Elementary and graduated from Sonora High School in 1991. She has worked in food service for 19 years managing bakeries and cake decorating. She began at Sierra Outdoor School in 2002 and happily takes care of the student store, vending machines, and all areas in the dining hall and kitchen. She loves everything about her job here at SOS.

Elle Bailey
Elle has worked in the SOS kitchen since 2010. She is a Native American Mi Wuk, born and raised in Tuolumne County. Elle enjoys baking, reading, watching movies, her cats, and spending time with friends and family.

Anna Baker

Anna was born and raised in Toulumne county. She attended Columbia Elementary and graduated from Sonora High School. Anna enjoyes baking and spending time with family and friends. She began working at SOS in August of 2018.

Ann Painter

Ann grew up in the Bay Area and moved to Sonora 16 years ago. She lives with her husband of 25 years and while her three grown children have flown the coop, she has many other animals to take care of on their farm. In her free time Ann enjoys cooking, baking, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. She began working at SOS in 2015.

Megan Peralta

Megan was born in the Bay Area and grew up around Fresno. Megan has lived in many places but ultimately found her home in Sonora with her son and girlfriend. Megan loves being in tune with nature and loves gardening. Megan plans to continue her schooling towards a degree in Botany.
