Naturalist Substitute - Are you interested in teaching science and adventure education in the outdoors? SOS is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year for Naturalist Substitutes who will work on an on-call basis to meet the needs of our education program. Qualified candidates must have experience teaching youth in a formal or informal environment, have completed a minimum of 48 college credit hours, have current first aid and CPR certifications and pass a pre-employment background check. Naturalist Internship - Naturalist Interns are mentored and trained to teach 4th-6th grade students in science concepts, cultural history, team building, low ropes elements, and facilitation of our high ropes course. This is a 10-month Internship with a commitment from August 4, 2019 - June 12, 2020 (non-negotiable). Starting in January 2019 applications will be accepted.
