at the Sierra Outdoor Adventure Retreat!

Sierra Outdoor School is pleased to announce that this summer we will be hosting an outdoor vacation for families. We will provide a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. You can leave all the planning and entertaining to us; from meals, to activities, to field trip transportation. Our naturalists will lead your family on adventures where you learn and grow and find inspiration from our beautiful forest and clear, starry skies. Plus, you’ll have as much free time to explore or relax as you please. It’s all the enjoyment of camping with your family and more!

Our schedule will include adventure, recreation and activities that bring family members together, appropriate to ages 9 and above[1].

Many of our visitors also like to take advantage of Sierra Outdoor School’s convenient location to plan further excursions to Yosemite, Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Historic Columbia Gold-Rush Town, Mercer and Moaning Caverns, and other nearby places of interest in the Motherlode.
